Burning & gritty eyes

A sandy, scratchy or stinging feeling can accompany an unstable tear film. Redness may be visible, but appearance alone cannot identify the cause.

Watery & irritated eyes

Eyes may water in response to surface irritation. An exam can distinguish dry eye from allergies, eyelid problems or tear-drainage concerns.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

A clearer picture of your eyes. A plan built around you.

Dry eye can have more than one cause. Your visit is a chance to understand your symptoms, take a closer look at your eyes and discuss a plan that fits your findings.

We image and measure.

Your visit begins with OCULUS Keratograph 5M imaging and measurements of your meibomian glands, tear-film stability and redness, before you meet with the doctor.

We listen and examine.

Your doctor listens to your concerns, reviews your history and previous treatments, and examines your eyes alongside the imaging results. Additional testing is selected when needed.

We plan together.

We explain the findings, discuss suitable options and set expectations for follow-up. An evaluation does not commit you to a procedure.

Before you arrive
Bring a list of your drops, medications and previous treatments, along with the questions you would like to discuss.
