OptiLift RF & DMST

Radiofrequency alone. DMST when appropriate.
Radiofrequency (RF) is available as a standalone treatment at our practice. DMST is not required.
RF on its own
Radiofrequency (RF) is available as a standalone treatment at our practice. DMST is not required.
RF with DMST
For selected patients, RF may be combined with dynamic muscle stimulation (DMST). Your doctor assesses whether adding DMST fits your needs.
Choosing your treatment
Your doctor discusses RF alone and RF with DMST, including suitability, risks, alternatives and the plan for follow-up.
OptiLift radiofrequency (RF) can be performed on its own. Dynamic muscle stimulation (DMST) is an additional treatment option, rather than a required part of every RF visit. Our Westwood doctors assess your eyelids, blinking and ocular surface before recommending RF alone or RF with DMST.
Why eyelids matter
Complete blinking helps spread tears across the eye. Changes in lower eyelid support or blink function may contribute to ocular surface discomfort. OptiLift is considered after examining these factors alongside tear-film and meibomian gland findings.
Your visit
We review your symptoms, health history and previous procedures, examine your eyelids and explain the proposed treatment. Your doctor discusses what sensations to expect, the planned number of visits, aftercare and follow-up. We assess function and comfort over time.
A personalized decision
OptiLift is not appropriate for everyone. Implanted electronic devices, such as pacemakers or defibrillators, and metal in the treatment area require particular attention during screening. Ask about risks, alternatives and realistic expectations. Improvement and treatment needs vary; there is no guaranteed result.
